UPDATE on the 42-year old who adopted his girlfriend to protect his assets after killing a 23-year old in a DUI accident.
The family and estate of the 23 year year old uncovered the adoption and now seek emergency relief in the civil suit for further Discovery related to the adoption. [Plaintiff made the motion for relief, Defendant responded, Plaintiff now responds in the following link]

The adoption of the girlfriend is now being challenged, based on fraud and it being against public policy, by the attorney for Goodman's teenaged biological children; however, the attorney fears that the children lack standing to oppose the adoption.
